Stanley Tools is one of the largest tool company in the world, if not the largest. The company was founded by Frederick Stanley and his brother William Stanley in 1843 in Connecticut, USA. The company grew with merger and acquisition and in the mid 1930's Baileys, a hand plane manufacturer in UK was acquired.
